ADVANCED AQUARIUM TECHNOLOGIES® (AAT) is the world’s premier aquarium infrastructure services specialist with a commitment to pioneering the techniques and technologies to create and support ever more inspiring, enlightening and sustainable aquaria. With this mission in mind the founding directors pursued the idea of increasing the global supply of high-quality, large format, cast acrylic sheets and have since formed AAT ACRYLICS.

AAT ACRYLICS now manufacture PLEXIGLAS® acrylic under license from its inventor, Evonik Industries of Germany. The new manufacturing, sales and distribution team specialise in the production of PLEXIGLAS® cast acrylic sheets, windows, domes and tunnels for use in pools, aquaria, zoos and other innovative architectural features.

ADVANCED AQUARIUM TECHNOLOGIES® (AAT) was established in 1996 by John and Michaela Langmead, both driven by a passion for the ocean. John, an experienced offshore collections diver and a senior manager at a public aquarium branched out and launched AAT offering specialist aquarium construction services and found success with major projects internationally. AAT is the world’s premier aquarium construction services specialist providing a range of offerings including conceptual design right through to equipment manufacturing and supply, construction and installation services, livestock sourcing & relocation as well as the commissioning and operating of public aquariums.
